The "Biodegradation (J)" set is designed to allow for biodegradability testing of different materials. The kit allows you to freely and independently select the substrate and materials to be tested. The kit itself contains samples of different materials (see composition) such as: Biodegradable shopping bag, Dog feces bag, Cellulose film, Starch filler, Vasculars from wheat bran, Strips of various metals. The degree of biodegradability of the materials contained in the kit, as well as materials from our immediate environment, including those discarded by us or in our area into the waste bin, can thus be tested.

The distinguishing feature of this set is its content - all the materials to be tested included in the set are products found and distributed on the Polish market! We are testing materials that are available in Poland.

The set is carefully thought out. For example, being aware of the limitations of carrying out experiments outside specialised laboratories, a composter is included in the set, which speeds up the process of composting waste in containers.

There is also a possibility to buy a Zreplenishment set containing wear parts of the set.

The set allows for practical discussion before or during classes of such terms as:

• biodegradability, biodegradability, biodegradable material,
• composting, compostable material
• disintegration, decomposition, degradation,
• regeneration, recycling, recovery
• Biodegradable and bio-absorbable polymers
• ecotoxicity of waste
• and others.
